Work Completed Last Week
F Street water main: completed the 16-inch main from Inyo Street to Kern Street and advanced the Kern-to-Tulare segment. F Street sewer: finished the new manhole at Mariposa & F and began CTV camera testing of the new sewer main.
Work Happening This Week
Four crews are working downtown this week: • F Street (sewer) — 12-inch sewer main from Mono Street toward Kern Street, with a new manhole at F & Inyo. • G Street — 12-inch water main between Inyo and Kern. NIGHT WORK, 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM. • Tulare Street — 24-inch water main from H Street toward Federal Alley. • Calaveras Street — crews locating existing utilities ahead of new water main installation.
Work Planned Next Week
• F Street (sewer) continues from Kern Street to Tulare Street with a new manhole at F & Kern. • F Street (water) — 16-inch water main from Ventura Street (Cesar Chavez Blvd) to Mono Street. • Tulare Street 24-inch water main continues. • Calaveras Street — 16-inch water main installation from H Street to Broadway.
Important Notices
Night work on G Street (Inyo to Kern) runs Sunday night 7/19 through Friday morning 7/24, 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Expect nighttime lane closures, work lighting, and construction noise in that block. Day crews work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Thank you for your patience.
Schedule Changes
Asphalt restoration on F Street (Ventura Street to Kern Street) is planned to begin in late July following sewer camera testing. Dates will be posted here once confirmed.
